Lovely pub in the summer, we ride through the lakes to Islip have a couple here then ride back into the lakes. No idea on the food, havnt eaten there yet but likely will soon.

Good pub. Having used for evening meals as well as quick stop for pint after dog walk and bar food. Parking is good and outside seating allows you to watch the world go by. Staff always have been very friendly and without prompting bring water out for any dogs visiting.

No way other than up the stairs and with my mum being disabled we had to pretty much carry her up with no assistance but apart from that was a lovely roast

The food was mostly great, although my daughter's apple crumble was cold with hot custard. The service was very slow, even though the restaurant was not very busy (only around 5 tables occupied). Would go again, but make sure we weren't in a hurry

Went for Sunday lunch as a group of four. Nice restaurant upstairs in the pub. Service was a little slow to start, but got better. The vegetable portions with the roast were a little small. Overall the meal was nice and good value. We will go back again.

Seems like a nice place. I just stopped here for a pint half way through a bike ride. Its got a lovely beer garden and my beer was great. They had 3 real ales and all the other usual stuff. Large interior and they do food but i didnt eat here.
