Eaten at The Woolpack Inn 10+ times in the past year or two and always quality standard food and great service, never stayed in one of their rooms as live locally but iām sure that would be top standard too!
Even when passing by, great place to pop in for a drink, lovely bar facility downstairs split away from the main restaurant.

Second lunch I've had here in last couple of months. Cannot fault it. The food was really well thought through and very tasty. The ambience was lovely. And the service was excellent.

Had an average chili con carne on arrival, a good nights sleep, decent shower and a good full English breakfast with tasty coffee and happily returned for a 2nd night.

Great service great menu and facilities and so was the food. The staff were very accommodating we changed our table to upstairs and it was no problems on a very busy Sunday. The roast was delicious. Will definitely go back again

I didn't stay at the hotel, just went for dinner.
I had a couple of excellent pints of Abbott Ale, perfectly kept and served at the correct temperature.
I ordered bangers and mash. The mashed potatoes and carrots were great but the sausages tasted like they had been cooked in the microwave.

Great place to go for a pint, drink or to eat. Very pretty pub and location. The price of food is the only reason for the missing star. But the food is nice and the atmosphere great.

I went for a Sunday afternoon dinner with friends and the roast beef dinner was amazing, kidās menu was perfect and the staff are always absolutely brilliant.

I have since been returning on a be more regular basis and every experience has been absolutely fantasticā¦ food is always great and all meats used in the restaurant are locally sourced from the local butcherā¦ 100% top quality.

Lovely find on the way back home. Great quality local food and good value for money. My only criticism is that there isn't a disabled toilet and as a wheelchair user, that is pretty crucial.

Consistently great Sunday lunch. Everything cooked to perfection. If you can fit it in, they have some lovely desserts too. Not surprisingly, it gets busy so if you've a particular time in mind, best to book. I love the fact that they serve right through the day, until 8pm I think. So nobody dictating when you have to be hungry! Definitely recommended.
