What a fabulous themed cafe! Lots of fascinating items from the blitz on display. You even get Churchill's wartime speech blasting out from the speakers at some point. Lovely, friendly staff.

What a fantastic place. We loved having the Vera Lynn afternoon tea on a warm Saturday afternoon. The place was lovely and cool, a guitarist playing period tunes so there was atmosphere and a pulse. Friendly owners/ serving staff. Highly recommended!

The magical wonder of this delightful café is to be experienced! There is a sense of vintage-ness; a british patriotism, of both pre- and post- 1940's about the Café that leaves you in awe, and you will (if you are lucky enough, as my wife and I certainly were) find people coming in for afternoon tea appropriately dressed in the style befitting this gem of a place! Of the food itself, you won't be disappointed - the scones are "big" and delicious. The cakes are home-made affairs, and scrummy too! Note. The cakes made with cream, well turn the corners of your mouth up, you're in for a treat. And don't forget to add a nice cup of tea to round it off with!
