It was a nice themed cafe.
Reasonably basic food and drink options at reasonable prices.
The food options fitted the war/1940s theme of the cafe.
The decor was the best part of this place. Worth a visit.

It seemed like about half of the customers were regular and then others were new like myself and Co

Dietary restrictions: There was one gluten free cake option- when I went it was carrot cake which fitted with the war time theme. It was nice too.

I had a jacket potato with beans and cheese (naturally gluten free).

I didn't see a specific gluten free menu but the server was able to tell you what was in things.

Parking: I didn't see any parking specifically for this cafe.

Kid-friendliness: There were a few small children and babies in when we visited.
No specific entertainment for them but they seemed to be well behaved and happy.

Wheelchair accessibility: There was one person who used a wheelchair whilst we were there. They seemed to have no issues.

Very nice setting, it's unique war setting gives a different experience.
It was full of people which was a good sign, we didn't book but they found us a table.

The tea cups are very elegant and made in Britain. You can see the setting in the pictures.

The staff are friendly and polite.

The food was great

We would definitely recommend this place.

Very small little place, made to feel small as it was so busy with customers. Nothing seemed to stop them though. Staff so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Dietary restrictions: One of the group was gluten free and they brought out a gluten free afternoon tea.

Kid-friendliness: Took my 11 month in and they doted on her. Playing with her, making sure she was included as much as anyone else.

My son and I always enjoy our "dates" here. The food is great, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is always jolly, fun and calm. The history of the building is something more should be aware of and the way it has been preserved and presented is exactly as you would hope. 10/10 on all countsFood: 5/5  |  Service: 5/5  |  Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Me and my sister popped into the tearoom on Wednesday and what an experience! It’s so lovely and clean and all the staff are so welcoming.
We had tea and fresh homemade scones and wow they did not disappoint. The tea is made with fresh tea leaves and you get a pot with little China cup and saucer. Really worth the visit!
