It was lovely to see all the old memorabilia on display and the quirky design of the menus was in keeping with the interior of the premises

I generally like this place, and this was the first time for breakfast. On this occasion, something was not working, as there were too many errors in what we ordered and what was delivered.

Brilliant place. Have visited it a few timesnow. Friendly people and will adapt the menu to suit yr needs/taste. However I think the authenticity has slipped. Ambiance and friendliness are 5 star. Authenticity abt 3. There wouldn't be paninis on the menu in the blitz. Salad cream already on the salad is a no no for me. I like to taste the food. So. Serve it separately if you must.

It's a very quaint and atmospheric place. The whole experience does transport back to the 1940's. The attention to detail with the cafe and menu is superb. The food and customer service is excellent too.
