We visited on Easter Sunday for lunch for 9 people. The sun was shining and the setting was gorgeous. The staff were attentive without being overbearing (which I often find annoying when I am trying to enjoy my food). I chose a steak salad for £11.50 and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of steak I received, as often place skimp on the meat element in salads. It was nicely cooked and the accompanying bread was delicious. We also had desserts, which were very generous too. I would definitely return.

Nice food and surroundings, not enough staff we had to wait a while to get served....and also cold coffee which I had to send back and reorder. Overpriced gifts - does anyone actually buy anything from there ?. Nice garden though great for families.

Fabulous food,we had lamb shank, and lamb pie,with extra gravy , we're all terrible gravy boats.staff lovely,very clean.dont look at the cakes if your on a diet,it will go out the window,there gorgeous

Located just outside Geddington in a the small village of Newton the Dove cote is truly tranquil and amazing<br><br>The food is all homemade and is priced accordingly<br><br>It may appear expensive but it's worth every single penny<br><br>Definitely going again and deffo worth a visit
