Such a great place. Food is great. And the cakes are to die for. Little pricey b its worth it. Whether you want to sit inside or if it's hot sit in the huge garden. Staff are nive and you can even buy fresh produce and go family strawberry picking. And there is a park.

For cyclist a cake and coffee is great. But... service is slow...so allow a 45 minute stop. Maybe they dont want cyclists!!!!

We had a really great meal on an Easter Sunday. We had a pre-booked table for 9 which was already set and available when we arrived a little early. Staff were all friendly and helpful and attentive, serving drinks for everyone as they arrived. All the food was well presented and delicious. A great selection on the menu that day with several additions on the specials board. Desserts are well taken care of with a large chilled desserts cabinet which is well with a look!

A new cycling stop for our club. One of the biggest we have used for our mid ride refreshments.
Loads of seating both indoors and out. Table service was excellent as was all the food.
The pavlova I had was exquisite.
Not the cheapest place for a tea stop but it is quite a classy place and worth a visit now and again.

We visited on Easter Sunday for lunch for 9 people. The sun was shining and the setting was gorgeous. The staff were attentive without being overbearing (which I often find annoying when I am trying to enjoy my food). I chose a steak salad for £11.50 and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of steak I received, as often place skimp on the meat element in salads. It was nicely cooked and the accompanying bread was delicious. We also had desserts, which were very generous too. I would definitely return.

Nice food and surroundings, not enough staff we had to wait a while to get served....and also cold coffee which I had to send back and reorder. Overpriced gifts - does anyone actually buy anything from there ?. Nice garden though great for families.
