Got a quote for interim service and mot. Bit shocked at how much the price had gone up,won't use them anymore .The price increase is probably to do with the fact that Richards is now called BTN and as I work opposite I've noticed they are not as busy as they were. The guys that work there are brilliant and trustworthy, it's just that the price let's it down.

Ive never paid for a service outside of a service plan on a new vehicle or I’ve serviced the car myself. After purchasing a BMW with full service history I thought it was best to keep that up I was just hesitant as to which garage to use… and Richards GCS - can’t fault the guys. I will be using these guys again!

Brilliant and unexpected service, slightly hard to get hold of but to be expected from a busy and popular worshop.
I thought it was the end of my jag forever, and most noteably several other garages wouldn't touch it. Richards squeezed me in on a busy week and managed to fix the complex issue with a smile,
and the price was phenomenal considering they could've charged pretty much what they liked for saving quite an expensive car from the scrap heap. 10/10

I highly recommend Richards Autos, German car specialists.
They were very thorough, efficient and professional, and repaired 2 problems I had with my car. One of which was an intermittent fault, but they identified it and it was swiftly repaired.

Excellent. Richard and his team have been looking after my BMW and Mercedes for years. Their honesty and transparency is so refreshing compared with less scrupulous main dealers. Recently the BMW developed a fault that could have cost thousands to resolve (suspected gearbox failure) but Richard and his team spent the time to thoroughly diagnose and determined that a progressively seizing rear caliper was at fault. This was replaced along with pads plus I asked for a full transmission service (needed after 120k miles) All done without fuss. Car is running perfectly! Well done.

Helpful , knowledgable and pretty fair on prices . Bit of a victim of their own success as the yard/car park is rammed full . Most of all , i like that the Richard , the guy with his name above the door , is a hands on working mechanic . Have used them a few times now , will continue to use them more .

Absolute professional. Huge thanks to Richard for being so honest, open and professional where other places were not. Took in a high performance car for an issue. Richard took the time to diagnose quickly and efficiently and was totally honest through the process keeping me in the loop along the way. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't try to spin me a line with the issues on the car with me being a woman like some garages do. I had an idea with the issue and they agreed without adding extras. Quick and reliable would highly recommend 👌🚗 update* my car was fixed and have had no problems since so would definitely recommend!

Excellent service, although there was a mix up on what work was to be done, the garage took responsibility immediately and completely rectifed the mistake with no hassle or argument. The work was all finished on time and at an excellent price. Overall I felt this business projected a genuine desire to give customers honesty, quality and value for money and I will doubtlessly use them again. We'll done Richards German Cars!
