Prachtig estate, zelfs de parkeerplaats is mooi. Leuke informatieve tour van Helen met heerlijke wijnen om te proeven na afloop. Leuke winkel en terras met restaurantje erbij. Zeker aanrader.

20 juni 2026. Tour geboekt voor 19,50 pond per persoon. Leuke en interessante tour met uitleg hoe de lokale wijn wordt gemaakt en aanverwante producten zoals fudge, chocolade, marmelade, jam,Black butter. Je krijgt een korte tour langs de druiven struiken en eveneens een korte rondleiding +uitleg binnen waar je diverse apparatuur te zien krijgt die gebruikt wordt voor de productie. Afsluitend een video presentatie met een proeverij van diverse wijnen. Na dit alles kun je in het naastgelegen winkeltje allelei souvenirs en de homemade producten kopen voor een concurende prijs ten opzichte van andere souvenir winkels in het centrum.
Je kan ook een rondje lopen in de mooi aangelegde tuin die naar eigen zeggen veel voor bruiloften wordt gebruikt.
Er is ook een klein restaurant voor thee,koffie, broodjes etc.

Amazing venue, beautiful ground. Great food and drink, really good value. John was a witty guide, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Missed a trick as the tractor ride finished at 2pm and we really wanted to do it.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, wo es sich lohnt, einen Kaffee oder Tee zu trinken und ein Stück Kuchen zu essen. Der Wein ist Geschmacksache, meinen trifft er nicht. Das Angebot, Cider, Sekt, Rotwein und Weißwein für £ 10,— zu probieren, ist jedoch sehr gut. John im Estate Shop ist ein absoluter Gewinn, auch wenn man ein dickes Fell braucht, hier sollte man einen Abstecher machen.

Lovely half day had tour with grumpy Bob who when he saw it used a stick offered me a chair at every opportunity read reviews before visiting some person writing he was rude especially about Guernsey good grief suggest she gets out more. Bought home wine and cider had cider last night wish I had bought more

Excellent tour from start to finish. Our guide, Louise, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. The tour offered a great balance of learning about the vineyard, the winemaking process, and, of course, the wine tasting itself.
The estate is beautifully maintained, with stunning surroundings that make it a lovely place to spend a few hours. After the tour, we enjoyed a glass of wine (or 2) in the café’s beautiful garden, which was the perfect way to relax and take in the atmosphere.
An added bonus is that La Mare Wine Estate is only around a 15-minute taxi ride from St Helier, making it an easy and worthwhile visit during a stay in Jersey. Highly recommended.

The estate is beautifully maintained, with stunning surroundings that make it a lovely place to spend a few hours. After the tour, we enjoyed a glass of wine (or 2) in the café’s beautiful garden, which was the perfect way to relax and take in the atmosphere.

But no choice pn this occasion the venue itself is stunning and well laid out , beautiful countryside of Jersey, the Guide for our tour Andrew was informative, spoke to all ages and was above all humerus in his talk and presentation , the bus service from the town of St Helier could be more detailed and informative, but that's nothing to do with the vineyard, but could help this local company with more informative transport links , but managed to get there and back via a cheap well driven bus , both ways

Stopped for coffee and it was a great coffee with a very good croissant ( homemade). Delightful service from the two young ladies . Nice selection of goods in the estate shop couldn't resist the chocolates 😋. Beautiful well kept garden and grounds with a play area for young children

Lovely tour by Louise - both informative and interesting. She answered all our questions and I’ve learned lots about wine making from this trip. Samples were very tasty, some of the most delicious white wine and licqor chocolate. Great shop with excellent range of drinks and food.

We had a wonderful tour with our tour guide John who made the experience fun and enjoyable (until he left us for a group of Germans who had unexpectedly turned up!) However, the lovely Andrew took over and we ended the tour with a lovely selection of wines to taste. My personal favourites were actually the cider and the apple brandy!
The wine estate was immaculate and very inviting and the setting beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful cream tea and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of paying a visit.

It was a great experience on the vineyard tour and wine tasting. From the beginning in the vineyard, learning about the grapes, to going into the distillery, and learning about the fermentation process, our guide Louise was absolutely amazing. Besides the alcohol, the beauty of the meadow will take you back in time. An absolute recommend.

After being let down by another venue on the Island last minute, La Mare Wine Estate pulled out all the stops to host our meeting for 40 people with less than 24 hours notice. The meeting room was perfect (modern, spacious and equipped with all the AV equipment you would need) and the team couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. We finished our day with a wine tasting and tour which was brilliant - Andrew's sense of humour and wine expertise made it fun and engaging for all. I would recommend La Mare to anyone looking to host an event on Jersey. My only regret is not booking them in the first place. Thanks again to Karen and all the team.

We started, and ended (!) in the cafe, with the staff being very friendly & helpful. In fact, all the staff we came across were. On the tour itself, Andrew was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information, as well as samples to try. It was a great tour & tasting session.
