Stopped for coffee and it was a great coffee with a very good croissant ( homemade). Delightful service from the two young ladies . Nice selection of goods in the estate shop couldn't resist the chocolates 😋. Beautiful well kept garden and grounds with a play area for young children

Lovely tour by Louise - both informative and interesting. She answered all our questions and I’ve learned lots about wine making from this trip. Samples were very tasty, some of the most delicious white wine and licqor chocolate. Great shop with excellent range of drinks and food.

We had a wonderful tour with our tour guide John who made the experience fun and enjoyable (until he left us for a group of Germans who had unexpectedly turned up!) However, the lovely Andrew took over and we ended the tour with a lovely selection of wines to taste. My personal favourites were actually the cider and the apple brandy!
The wine estate was immaculate and very inviting and the setting beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful cream tea and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of paying a visit.

We had a fantastic day up at the vineyard. Louise our tour guide was wonderful, very informative and a lovely happy warm lady.
The vineyard is beautiful,a lovely outdoor seating area and indoors is just as nice.
A lovely little shop there too.
We travel to South Africa every year and visit numerous vineyards but not many have been as informative of the wine making process and history . A great video is played while you taste the wine and gives you an in sight into the staff .
Will highly recommend and will be back the next time we are in jersey .

It was a great experience on the vineyard tour and wine tasting. From the beginning in the vineyard, learning about the grapes, to going into the distillery, and learning about the fermentation process, our guide Louise was absolutely amazing. Besides the alcohol, the beauty of the meadow will take you back in time. An absolute recommend.

We had a great experience on the tour. We saw the beautiful vineyard, tasted a variety of products, and learned about the creation these products. Our guide, Helen, was both funny and informative resulting in an excellent tour.

After being let down by another venue on the Island last minute, La Mare Wine Estate pulled out all the stops to host our meeting for 40 people with less than 24 hours notice. The meeting room was perfect (modern, spacious and equipped with all the AV equipment you would need) and the team couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. We finished our day with a wine tasting and tour which was brilliant - Andrew's sense of humour and wine expertise made it fun and engaging for all. I would recommend La Mare to anyone looking to host an event on Jersey. My only regret is not booking them in the first place. Thanks again to Karen and all the team.

We started, and ended (!) in the cafe, with the staff being very friendly & helpful. In fact, all the staff we came across were. On the tour itself, Andrew was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information, as well as samples to try. It was a great tour & tasting session.
All in all, it was a great way to spend the best part of the day

The Apple Cake: Likely made with La Mare’s own orchard apples, it clearly took the top spot whe I speak about the review of the food but I have to mention that Anna and Jackie have been absolutely brilliant. Thank you Anna. If I could I would have given a 7 ✨ review for not only excelent customer service, excellent customer care, greeted me with a smile, also went above and beyond to allow me to charge my phone battery 🪫 and I wish you'd not refuse a bit of a tip! You all deserve a free slice of that delicious tart. Compliments to the pastry chef. It's absolutely devine! I had to take a bit with me on a napkin bit not for my dog but for me. I will be back! As Arnold used to say and will bring more friends!

We visited La Mare by coincidence en route to Devils Hole, we chose to stop off for a wander around the vineyard and a drink.

On our way back we chose to grab a burger and chips to eat and were extremely happy with the food.

Straight back on our visit list next time we come to Jersey.

Lexxi was lovely and polite throughout the entirety of our time here and only added to our experience.

Thoroughly recommend visiting to all.

We had an amazing visit to La Mare Wine Estate and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The office manager was incredibly helpful in arranging a birthday surprise for our friend Alex—going above and beyond to make the day feel really special. It’s rare to experience such thoughtful and attentive customer service.

Our tour guide, John, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and great fun. He made the tour enjoyable for all of us, including my dad, and really helped create a memorable experience.

A highlight was the presentation of the “Adopt a Vine” gift at the end, with John showing Alex his vine (Row 12, Vine 43). Such a unique and thoughtful touch that made the day even more special.

Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt well-organised and genuinely enjoyable.

Highly recommend visiting!

Excellent tour from start to finish. The guide was very knowledgeable and it was a nice blend of vineyard/processes/tasting. The whole place is very beautiful and the cafe had a beautiful garden to enjoy a glass of wine afterwards. It was easily accessible by bus and the tour was perfectly timed to fit in with the bus timetables.

A lovely experience at La Mare Wine Estate. I purchased a ticket for the tour and tasting experience online, which was slightly cheaper. Andrew was an excellent guide, explaining the process of wine production clearly. The tasting session was very interesting and the servings were generous too! A wide range of products produced by the estate. I also had lunch in the cafe which comprised a delicious homemade sausage roll and salad which was also reasonably priced for the high quality. Overall, an extremely pleasant and recommendable day out.

Beautiful estate with a lovely cafe and shop and an opportunity to see how the local wines are produced. Jamie gave us an excellent tour of the vineyard and winery complete with a tasting of the white, rose and red. A surprise was the delicious cider and chocolate, together with the home produced fudge and spirits. Afterwards it's a short walk to the Devil's Hole on the spectacular North west coast. All well worth a visit.

Un très joli tea room avec une boisson chaude originale (le Coco mocho) et de délicieuses pâtisseries. Il était un peu tôt pour goûter les vins de ce vignoble... une prochaine fois.

I highly recommend taking the vineyard tour at La Mare. Special thanks to our tour guide Andrew for taking the time to answer all my questions and making it such a interesting and informative experience. Also make sure to leave time to check out the gift shop afterwards, the selection of products the estate produce is very varied!

Husband and I used a gift voucher on Good Friday for a guided tasting tour and highly recommend it. Included a very short tour of the vines (due to bad weather), explanation of the vine to bottle process, video and tastings of La Mare cider, their white, rose and red wines and homemade chocolates, finished off with a tasting of their cream liqueur. Took approx. 1 hour and was led by Louise, who was charming and very knowledgeable, and accompanied by Bob, also charming! Really interesting and even though we’re local we learnt some things about Jersey. Followed up with lunch in the cafe afterwards which, as usual, delicious. Recommended for local and visitors alike.
