La Mare Wine Estate is Jersey’s only working vineyard. The Estate comprises an eclectic mix of authentic Jersey buildings and beautiful gardens and the Vineyard Restaurant and Terrace.
La Mare Wine Estate’s story began in 1972, when the first vine was planted. Since then, the Estate has matured and developed into a six acre commercial vineyard, distillery and Vineyard Restaurant.
The Vineyard Restaurant is the perfect location for summer alfresco dining, enjoying stunning views across the vines, for morning coffee, lunch, or afternoon tea.
“We’ve been making wine for years and much like the wine itself, we’ve improved with age.”
The Vineyard Restaurant is open 10am to 5pm Wednesday – Sunday, serving a range of delicious hot and cold light lunches including traditional sandwiches, salads, and platters as well as some sweet treats to please all taste buds. Experienced head chef, Marcin Ciechomski, ensures all food is to the highest standard for an exceptional dining experience. You can click to view their restaurant menu on the right.

A firm favourite with locals and tourists alike, the La Mare Afternoon Tea is served daily between 12pm & 4:30pm.
“Made with love using the finest award winning, home made produce, your afternoon tea includes four finger sandwiches, a selection of finger cakes, a large homemade scone, Jersey Black Butter chutney, our own delicious strawberry jam and clotted cream.”
Since the first vineyards were planted, their production line has rapidly expanded. La Mare Wine Estate’s winemaker Daniel de Carteret is passionate about making unique and excellent wines under the La Mare Wine Estate brand, and their range now includes red, white, rosé and sparkling wines.

Lovely setting for a evening event or perhaps even an early breakfast in the sun!
Beautiful setting, with delicious food and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Loved it!
It is one of the few atraction in Jersey, which must to be seen. You don't have to like they wines. Maritime climate doesn't help with production of this drink, but you can try a gin, an apple brandy,...
Lovely location, food and amazing service. Thank you
Beautiful wine estate with must try Jersey butter. We've visited early September and luckily had the weather on our side. The vineyard was well presented, great tour guide and not to forget the tasting....
