Our newly wed daughter Jenny and our new son-in-law Sam held their wedding reception at La Mare Wine Estates ❤️ on Friday, 12th September 2025.
Both Karen, Margot, and all the staff at La Mare were amazing. The venue was stunning, the main hall inside was beautifully laid out, the welcome champagne with canapés on the lawned private gardens worked well and all the food was delicious. All our wedding guests were thoroughly impressed with the whole magical event, which flowed perfectly from beginning to end.
On behalf of our family, we are pleased to express our deep gratitude and love for helping make the wedding party so special.

Fabulous day at the vineyard. Tour guide Neil was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and very approachable. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. The shop sold high quality Jersey made goods.All staff were friendly and helpful.

We visited for the Classic Tour and Tasting. Booked the last tour of the day (15:30) which resulted in it just being the 4 of us and the guide Neil and we therfore we had his undivided attention throughout. The estate is in a beautiful location, the wines are very nice and Neil was very knowledgeable and friendly. An excellent way to spend the late afternoon ... although if the weather is nice it may be wise to do an earlier tour and then stay on to enjoy their wines at the tables in the garden.

A very worthwhile visit. Lots of information and set in a beautiful location.
We were in a private tour and our guide was called John. He was brilliant, he held his audience, made it amusing and at no point did you lose interest ! The tasting is obviously very enjoyable, and obviously you have the opportunity to purchase goods before you leave.
Make the effort to visit, it really is worth it and if you're lucky you may even have John as your guide!!

We had an amazing visit with roberts coaches ,John the owner gave us a lovely talk taking us through all the process ,wine tasty was lovely especially the pomvie ,then we had a beautiful cream tea the black butter was delicious so had to but a jar, also there,s a lovely Cockerell roaming around ,book you won't be disappointed x

Took a tour of the winery, and lunched at the Cafe. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting the tasting was enjoyable (and yes, good enough to have bought some wine in the shop after the tour, despite the fact we are travelling). The cafe food was very good, but a reservation would be wise if you’re planning to be there on a weekend. We enjoyed our visit.

We did the premium tour, john was very knowledgeable and witty. Wine was good. The location was wonderful, a beautiful meadow field, vineyard, playground, cornhole for all ages, and great outdoor seating. Restaurant was superb with lovely food with great prices. They offer a happy hour for their bronchage cider 2.50 a pint or 1.25 1/2 pint, which is unbeatable prices. The gift shop was nice and offered some free samples. Recommendations: for the premium tour, the step up from standard and premium didn't feel much different from the standard offering would rather pay an extra bump on the premium tour to make it feel more special like a lunch with wine pairings or afternoon tea. Bar staff needs a little reminder, as we bought lucky last, which should be shaken before opening, which did not happen, so all the sediment was at the bottom, which took away from the wine itself. Other than that lovely place recommend.

Can a wine tour be for the whole family ? La Mare Wine Estate have figured it out. Playground, Kids Fairy Trail, Juice Tasting, Super fun tour guide and beautiful setting. Along with a highly informative tasting session on the history of the Jersey Estate and the ownership. We didn’t get to try the wonderful restaurant but menu looked great for adults and kids.

The tour was such good value - we chose premium - and our tour guide was excellent (sadly yesterday was her last day). We had also booked to stay for afternoon tea which was delicious. Lovely setting, well maintained. Decor in toilets 👌

La Mare Wine Estate is a must when visiting Jersey. Fabulous vineyard, I very much enjoyed the tour and tasting. They are producing some very good wines here, definitely one to watch.
