Wonderful winery and a true hidden gem!
We are absolutely thrilled with our visit! The farm shop offers a fantastic selection of local delicacies—the salted caramel cream is an absolute must-try and simply heavenly.

We had the best cream tea here in a long time! The scones taste wonderfully fresh and nostalgic—just like they used to be made back in the day.
The entire staff is extremely warm, super friendly, and attentive. A huge plus: dogs are warmly welcome here, which made the stay perfect for us.
An all-around fantastic and very cool experience. Almost too good to keep as a hidden gem—highly recommended!

We went for the visit with tastings, really enjoyed, so we stayed for 3 course lunch, and I must say the food was excellent, been a long time since we had such good meat!

A fabulous tour of the Estate with Tom.

Andrew, our guide was very informative and highly entertaining. If you want to discover the wine making process and enjoy a tipple at the same time, the guided tour at La Mare, is highly recommended. You might want to get a taxi!

This was our second visit to La Mare, and it certainly won’t be our last.
The tour was excellent, with Tom as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and a brilliant presenter who brought the history, production process, and the passion behind La Mare to life. He made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. As a fellow watch enthusiast, I also have to say he has excellent taste in watches!
After the tour, we had lunch in The Vineyard, and the food was outstanding. Great quality, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to round off the visit.
A fantastic experience all round. Highly recommended whether it’s your first visit or, like us, you’re returning. We’ll definitely be back.

Wunderschön eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter alle freundlich und sehr Kinderfreundlich. Wir haben schnell einen Parkplatz gefunden, und bei dem Weintraubenfeld gab es sehr viel zu lernen

Hatte eine wundervolle Zeit im La Mare Wine Estate. Das Essen ist sehr lecker (Mediterranean Salad und Scone mit Clotted Cream/ Marmelade) Ich kann die Tour mit Tasting nur empfehlen. Wir hatten einen sehr netten und sympathischen Tour Guide names Tom. Er hat uns wundervoll durch das Wine Tasting geführt.

Definitely worth a visit. Even if you dont do the tour, the restaurant and setting are brilliant and worth a visit.
Our guide, Tom (I think) was very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was obvious. He was very happy to answer our questions and took time after the tour to chat with us and give us recommendations for lunch in the winery restaurant (crab ciabatta - very nice) and a nearby bay, that he said locals visited. This again was lovely

Absolutely lovely wine tasting tour. I wish I could bring home some black butter, but unfortunately it is only sold in larger jars, over the carry on liquid limits.

A great tour from start to finish. Andrew our tour guide was lovely. He was so knowledgeable, very friendly, just a lovely chap. Sampled sparkling, red and white wine after looking at the grapes and getting some history. Had sample of chocolate and fudge too. I would highly recommend the tour. Bus stop right outside the estate. Thank you Andrew. Unfortunately due to time scale we never had time to sample anything from the cafe but what was coming out looked lovely.

Lovely place but ordering food by queuing twice was not enjoyable. One member of staff doing orders. Lots of others about but not at the point of ordering!!! Pity. I run a food business ordering is key so more staff please at order point or table order service! Relaxed Sunday became stressy.

Such a lovely day out, Jamie was an excellent tour guide, really knowledgeable and quite funny! The wines were delicious, and so were the other products! Highly recommend!
