Great afternoon at the zoo. I have never seen Orangutan's before, they had 6! The gorilla's were also amazing, especially the youngster. Looks like they will be having some new animals join them soon too.

Lovely zoo, well worth a visit. The gorillas and orangutans were the highlight, but plenty of other animals to see too. And nice cakes in the cafe!

The keeper talks are really worth getting there for before midday. What a wonderful team of workers who clearly know the various characters and personalities of their animals. Brings the experience to life so well and makes you appreciate the crucial conservation work they're doing so much more.<br>...plus, the vegetable soup we had in the cafe was delicious!
