Entrance prices are not to bad with plenty of parking. Entry signs are a little scarce but there are no car park charges. The zoo has a nice cafe serving hot food and snacks but not much in the way of gluten free items. The grounds and pens are well laid out and all have plenty of natural vegetation. There are also ple ty of loos around the entire zoo. The day I visited it was not very crowded and it was easy to move around. During the day there are a number of keeper talks. We'll worth a visit.

Excellent place to visit. Lovely animals. Ground around the site is a bit uneven and dangerous on places. But please don't let this put you off. A great opportunity to visit really beautiful creatures and animals and learn about them.

Amazing animal park - captive residents look to be treated with respect. Carers talk with knowledge, compassion and scientific knowledge and so v interesting - and all such lovely young people. Wonderful spaces thought out well to give some compensatory enrichment.
If I may make 1 suggestion - it would be nice for the ? Andean? bear and the large wrinkle? hornbill - such a large bird - to have more space to fly than just 5 wing flaps to traverse his cage. I had an overwhelming erge to open the door and let him fly free.
You all do a wonderful job and it was such a pleasurable day. Thank you!

Jersey Zoo is always a great place to visit. It's home to so many beautiful & fascinating animals, including birds & reptiles, & it is all set in stunning countryside in the parish of Trinity. It is an oasis of calm & a very restful place to spend time. Both Café Dodo & the Firefly Café offer delicious meals. Café Dodo is the best place to go with younger children, as it has a play area for them. The Firefly Café is best if you'd rather avoid being around children's parties! You can never visit Jersey Zoo too often. 💖

Not really a zoo. Don't expect to see elephants. Giraffes. Or the like. Most animals sleeping or hiding. It's okay. But nothing special.

Wonderful zoo! Set in beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens the zoo is just the right size to while away a few hours even when it's raining. In fact this meant we got to see the animals close up as they were inside. The Gorillas and Orangutans are worth the ticket price alone. Also of particular note is the Bat enclosure. Equally fascinating and sort of repulsive. Seeing bats that large so near and in flight was a unique experience as is the smell that hits you! Hasten to add the bats are within a large netted enclosure not flying around your head but some enclosures like the bird and butterfly are walk through so beware if this is an issue. Also the Tamarind woods have animals loose. The Gerald Durrel story and exhibition was charming and wonderful an absolute must. And delicious and generous lunch in the cafe half way round the park. Best day of the holiday
