Good family day out. A few amazing animals to see, Dinosaur trail really cool (smaller children maybe a little scared of this part). Soft play is a good size, not enough seats for parents, though. Parks kept really well. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic wildlife park. Very well kept and lots to see and do. Excellent dinosaur trail, too. PWP is ideally situated in the forest. Staff/keepers are approachable and friendly. I can not recommend a visit to PWP highly enough.

As this is virtually on my doorstep, I am still unfortunately reluctant to visit this place often, for various reasons that I shall mention below.
The place (in my view) is very scattered and it's not easy to find certain animals, it caters massively for kids, - which I know is good for parents, but as an old gal now I find it's too much.
The food is basic really, and everything is costly.
But the two main gripes for me are that I feel it's very pricey to get in and even worse, I feel the enclosures are too small and it heartbreaking to see the wolves, and the big cats are just pacing round and round their pens all day, I can't bear that, and there seems to be vacant land around that I wonder why can't this be used to make their areas bigger?
The good things about the place in MY opinion, are the deer, the chubby foxes and the ultimate in deliciousness - the red pandas. They are so sweet and perfect that, that almost makes up for some of the bad bits.

It was a fun day out but didn't live up to expectations it's much smaller than what I expected three 3 to 4 hours is more than enough time to explore the entire Park. Myself and my daughter we travelled a very long way to go there due to the fact one zoo three is film there. Unfortunately it transpired not all of the children's TV show is filmed at that zoo but also a cat sanctuary and other locations. I wouldn't travel far to visit again but if your local it's worth a shout

Fantastic family day out and will visit again. Plenty of picnic and play areas and onsite catering very good too. Is clear that owner and staff dedication make this park as good as it is. Our boys 7, 11 & 13 enjoyed both the dinosaur trail and animal experience and inquisitive in the motorcycle speedway museum which itself is a jewel tucked away for those even mildly interested.

Good day out!
Dinosaurs were a highlight- very creative.
Nice enclosures.
Food in diner was reasonable and prices were good considering its a tourist attraction.

General admission is over priced for size/length of visit.

Great place for the kids, really enjoyable and lots of activities and attractions for the kids to enjoy. The dinosaur 🦖 section is brilliant. Definitely worth a visit and possibly few more as well as lots to see still and kids didn't get enough of it.

Absolutely had the best day ever never been to a zoo where you can see the animals so closely they were all out no staring into glass cases not seeing anything and moving on the lions and tigers were amazing. Didn't try any foods took our own but everything else was spot on and we went in winter i can only imagine how good it would be in summer the dinosaur park was great. Highly recommend a visit if you love animals.

I had a really good time, I went there today with my step dad and had a lot of fun. It was really cool because it gives me more of an idea of what it's like to work at a zoo, considering I'm going to do an animal care course later this year. I loved all the parts, it's a shame I couldn't see some animals though! And there were some I missed because I fainted whilst I was there, but the staff were very sweet and I felt comfortable and safe around them. The two staff that sat with me were really sweet and I wanted to thank them again for helping me. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer but I jsut felt too rough to walk back around again. I would love to go again soon!

Great place to visit, if you are local then I suggest you become a member as it works out cheaper. Always happy to support such a lovley place.

Food and drink is good considering its your pretty standard food menu, there is also plenty of space for you to bring your own food and eat which people usually do.

The park was great day out. The staff at the animal park were really informative and friendly. The mini golf was a unique addition for the zoo, which was for a great price.

However what made this trip extra special was the visit to the speedway museum. The woman staffing the venue was so genuinely lovely. She was so passionate about speedway (something I had never heard of) and I learnt a lot about this from her. Really nice unique addition to the park!

Visited on Thursday 18th August 2022 with my 5-year-old great Niece. Free parking is adjacent to the park but you do have to cross a fast road to join the queue. The entrance queue was about 20 mins even with pre-booked tickets. Once inside there are maps of the site with the first half is made up of animatronic Dinosaurs. This walkway is complimented by an underwhelming train you can ride on for an extra fee. Lots of photo ops and fun facts about dinosaurs as well as access to toilets and refreshments nearby on the route you follow. All buggy accessible. Between the 2 sides of the park (Dinosaur and real animals) there is a small eating, play and show area as well as a pool area which was closed when we visited. On the animal side, there was a surprising range of animals inc Camels, Lions, Zebras and Monkeys. Enough to keep most kids interested I would say. The park is not massive and would suit under 10's more than teens I would say. Worth a re-visit.
