Oh my word, what to say?! We went to Paradise last year for tea with tigers and saw people feeding the lions. This year, it was US feeding Moto, the white lion. Apart from the fact that it the THE most amazing experience to hand feed a huge lion (who I have been in love with since I saw him last year) all the staff at the park were pleasant and helpful. Very knowledgeable and obvious passionate about their work and the animals they care for. I will never forget the feeling of Moto's breath on my hand. and ps, Ian was quite yummy too!

We have spent a large chunk of time at paradise park during the early years of my children growing up. We purchased annual passes for many years which work out excellent value if you live local and would use to make it worthwhile.

It is a lovely day out. Lots of things to do including paddling area with a slide on a hot day, indoor soft play area, two outdoor park areas, a woodland walk where you can see reindeer, two bouncy castles - one for younger children and one for older children, lots of animals to look at. If its a nice day there are lots of outside picnic areas to eat in.

Overall a nice enjoyable day out, as with all things in this country made more enjoyable if the sun is shining!

The food was very basic and not really worth the money. Good the way they keep the kids entertainment away from the animals although it's there if needed.

I used to go a few times. But it got too expensive! Thats the only thing that put us off. Some enclosures the cages were empty . But after spending so much to get in and they even charge under 5s full price! Youre greeted with like a mini amusements that you have to pay for on top. A few more feet £2 per child to find gold. Then more money for tiny rides. A family thats just paid over £60 to get in they place childrens rides etc and made to pay more. Thats before you find the animals. Theres a mini farm. That you can find for free in other areas but kids like interaction. VERY VERY EXPPENSIVE FOR SUCH A SMALL ENCLOSURE!!!

A very clean place and the animals seem well cared for.
The staff are very friendly and the gentleman in the play area was really helpful.
There are places to eat and areas to picnic.
Even the repair man in the toilet area was friendly.
The staff took time to chat with us and the penguin lady told us about the youngest penguin.
I was with very young children and they enjoyed their time here. I will come again.

My boyfriend bought me a 'tickle a tapir' experience for my birthday and it was held at this park - prior to that I'd not heard of it before but I'm glad I know about it now.
The two of us had a great time exploring the park which has plenty to do and see and it's all brilliantly laid out in to maximise the space available.
There were talks and feedings going on all over the park all day and the staff and keepers were very friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble.
The food prices were good and the toilets clean (although the hand driers were very cold!!)
There are smaller/farm animals that you are able to pet and feed (£1 for a bag of food) which is great too.
I am very much looking forward to visiting this park again and have recommended it to many of my friends, with or without children.

My first visit to Paradise Wildlife park despite my wife and daughter being season ticket holders. We went on bank holiday Monday and seeing the queues I was more than ready to turn back. However,, I'm delighted that my wife convinced me not to! Firstly as season ticket holders we managed to avoid the queue and secondly absolutely every member of the team we came across had a great welcoming smile - from the girls cooking the burgers to the guy driving the shuttle bus to the overflow car park. I've never been a huge fan of zoo's as I never get to see anything but at Paradise we saw it all! Great kids activities, usual choice of food one has come to expect but a great day out overall and I'm looking forward to going back and making the most of my season ticket.

Easy train ride from London. My daughter did the red panda experience with Jessi the keeper. She had a great time feeding them apples and bamboo. Small zoo but many nice animals.

We have been here before and it's a great place to come, if you have children there are plenty of play areas, lots of places to eat and the animals are well housed and look healthy, as photographers there are the usual fence restrictions but there are also lots of viewing platforms which are great for taking pictures, it's only a 50min drive from where we live so it's worth the trip. The white lion cub was very sweet, unfortunately it was behind two layers of fence so photo ops were limited but it was lovely to see it.

Well this park is the sister park to the world heritage foundation although this park is open to the public. If you are into photography as a pro or beginner, this park is great!

The park is on the small side but it is big enough for all the animals to have a fun and happy life. You will find that when walking around, you realise you missed something and end up walking a bigger distance than some of the larger zoos.
What makes this zoo my favourite, is you are so close!

Mesh around the enclosures gives you full view of the beautifle animals at his park. The big cats are a speciality here. Glass for viewing is also present on most of the big cat enclosures. There are great walkways for great views of the enclosures without glass or mesh. Disabled guests will be able to view the whole park no problem.

The walkways are also great for the camera tripod and will give you great photos due to the great view.
The only downside is due to the size of the park, on school holidays or weekends - be warned. 1000's of kids running around up and down the walkways made you very paranoid that your camera will end up in with the lions!

If your looking to get good photos, don't want an expensive course, want to take your time, have a great view - this park is great!

Paradise Park is a short drive away from J25 on the M25, your sat nav may take you the wrong way when you reach the country lanes so just follow the signs not your sat nav at this point.
My family and I really enjoyed the experience, the animals were great and the staff was very pleasant, I would advise a packed lunch unless you like hotdogs, burgers ect My family and I will be returning in the near future.

We had a great day out at Paradise Wildlife Park! My girlfriend had an unforgettable experience feeding a snow leopard with our keeper Ricky, he was very knowledgeable and passionate about the big cats. We recommend to anyone with a passion for animals to visit this place and learn about them more.

Looks well maintained. You can get up close to the animals - we only went because we had free entry a bit expensive otherwise. Nice cafe.

My wife and I stayed here on a deal with an evening newspaper. Snooze at the zoo. This included 1 night accommodation and 2 days park entrance. Also included is breakfast with the tigers and feeding the lorikeets. Also in the package was a morning tour of the zoo before it opened to the public.
My general experience was good. My only criticism was the room/accommodation. It is furnished to a good standard but and its a big but the soundproofing is awful. Our next door neighbours could be heard talking sneezing etc. Do not go here for a cheeky night away. The staff are all really helpful happy abd perhaps the parks best asset.

This zoo is better than any else. It's just stunning. A five star wildlife park is so much nature it's just beautiful nature. I highly recommend this paradise for everyone

We have visited here many times since our daughter was born. Its a local treat to have this place near us, with lots of offers throughout year for discount entry too. We like to split the day up, by visiting the animals in the morning, then the adventure play area in the afternoon. Plenty of choice even when busy! Its not a big zoo, so ideal for little ones! The high walkways are such a great idea for viewing animals & pushchair friendly. Only advice, take a packed lunch, as food a little pricey. Look forward to next visit...

Small children will love this park as there is both wildlife and a great little play area for them to play in with loads of slides etc. It is a bit disapointing that for the price you pay you then still have to pay for addittional games etc inside.

We visited the park today to take part in a Monkey Tour that my partner had bought me for Christmas. We spent time exploring the park and seeing the other animals both before and after our tour.

The site is very well thought out and includes some excellent raised walkways that are fully accessible by wheelchair/pushchair and offer a unique view into all the big cat enclosures - we got some lovely photos and you feel very close to the animals. We saw part of a fascinating cheetah training demo and we impressed with the keepers knowledge and how well the animals behaved. There were lots of other feeding / keeper info sessions advertised as running throughout the day and it felt like a very friendly place.

Our Monkey Tour with Glen the keeper was excellent, he was highly informative and entertaining. He knows every animal by name and could tell you a huge amount about their personalities, habits, history, breeding etc etc but in a way that was interesting and at times humorous. You could tell how well the animals have bonded with him by their reaction to him appearing at their cage.

Our tour included afternoon tea in the discovery centre and they were very good in accommodating my special wheat free dietary requirements.

It's not the biggest zoo/wildlife centre but it's got a good range of animals, is well laid out and there is plenty to keep you busy for a day's visit. Plenty of parking and good all round facilities.

We didn't have children with us but there are loads of areas for kids both with farm animals, bunnies and other small animals you can pet plus masses of playground areas. I imagine it's packed at weekends and I'd avoid those if you could or especially if like us you were visiting without children.

A truely great day out for all & reasonably priced too, kids loved every minute, lots of shows, feeding times & keeper talks to do throughout the day that for a little park there is always something to do, highly recommended for a great family day out and if you get a discount voucher even better :o)

Major surprise how amazingly good this place was. It was quiet, cos we went on a school day (but our 3 year old wasn't starting til tomorrow). Very well designed: raised walkways to get a different view of the animals, and my son loved running around them. Excellent play areas: real old fire engine, train etc. How cool is that. I Friendly service all over - we had lunch watching a tiger. Nice lady in restaurant heated up baby's food with a smile.
Couldn't believe the animals; snow leopards, white lions and tigers. All close up but looking healthy and happy. They weren't just sleeping the distance. Lorikeets standing on my head was a new one for me. Standing next to a huge macaw being trained also.
One of our best days out ever with the kids.
May be obvious, and a bit unfair to say so, but I think that cos it's so good, on a weekend it would be rammed, and I'm not sure how that would be.

I brought my husband a 'shadow a big cats keeper for the day' gift for Christmas and he had a brilliant day. Cassie was really knowledgable & imparted her knowledge as they prepared food for all the big cats. The highlight of the day was my husband being allowed to hand feed Rocky the tiger which was amazing. Worth every penny & would totally recommend to anyone.

We went for a meerkats experience whih we booked for gifts and it was amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly and made the dasy special. A special thanks to Amy for making it great.

The park is lovely - not massive so you have to spend all day there. You can walk round in a day and enjoy the animals without feeling you nahve to rush on to see everything

Lions tigers and other big cats are amazing and look so healthy and well looked after.the enclosures arent massive but they have a good amount of enrichment Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day

Went on a chilly bank holiday Monday, (makes a change from it raining!) went with slight apprehension as only heard a few good things, but was pleasantly surprised! All very clean, enough animals to keep you interested for several hours and plenty of things happening around the park. Must say a well done to the keepers who made the effort to stick around and chat to people after the talks. Had a very interesting chat to one of them regarding the wolves when he didn't have too and probably had better things to be doing. One niggle, the shows in the tent need to be bit better thought out. Am sure its not easy with a room full of screaming children but all seemed a little but unprepared! All in all a pleasant and worth while trip and a good chance to try out my new camera. Well worth a look if your stuck for something to do!

Nice place to take the kids. Enjoy the zoo and as well as large picnic and play areas.<br><br>Have to mention you should avoid the beer on tap in the diner. Very warm - they need super chilled taps!

My husband and I (!) have just enjoyed a Tiger Brunch experience at the Paradise. Both retired, we went because two safaris in India resulted in only one tiger pawprint . . . ! This park is everything the good reviewers have said about it, and I just want to add a couple more comments.

Someone criticised the enclosures as being 'too small'. They're not. Our guide explained that some of the big cats are rescues from circus and private ownership. One had never had grass underfoot until he arrived here. Another had been caged in something too small for him to move in, and he had to be confined at first, then gradually moved up to larger pens until he could be outside on grass - which he is now. They actively discourage any animal tendencies to revisit their circus tricks.

Clearly these animals are much better off here than they were in their previous lives, and could never be released into the wild anyway as they wouldn't last two minutes in the bush. Also, as someone else has pointed out, the establishment is extremely conservation-conscious, and our guide explained the breeding programmes and genetic screening which ensures pure-bred babies. Did you know that the White Tiger is a breeding aberration that would have died out naturally, had Man not intervened ? Obviously their camouflage is rubbish !

We had a really good afternoon here, and that was without having to visit the very many childrens' attractions which appeared to be of a very high standard. I was rather pleased we were without grandchildren that day - I don't think we'd have got round to the animals . . . ! Having said that, being able to handfeed reindeer etc (with the purchased and therefore correct food ) is indeed very special, and it is definitely a well-recommended day out which educates and gives pleasure in very large doses !
