Get there EARLY as it can fill up quickly at the queues to get in. Great for children with play areas which have been all updated and more safer and eye catching. Take your own food if you want for picnics. As food bought it quite pricey! Gift shop is full with extras..little expensive..Disabled accessable all the way around.

Paradise Park is a great place to visit even if the weather is a bit damp because there are things to do under cover as well the Animals are fantastic you can get quite close un-like many zoo's where you are kept far away. Only downside I can think of it's not very well signposted so finding it can be a bit difficult

I was last here two years and was hugely disappointed. However the park has turned itself around. The animal enclosures are in much better shape and the animals look so much healthier. We loved the penguins, the rainforest and of course the big cats. The white lions are fascinating and the keeper who was around was very informative and friendly.

The play areas are clean and our children spent a long time there. We also enjoyed the paddling pool. The birds of prey display is also very interesting and recommended.

We went with a 2 and 6 year old, both had a great time.

To make it 5 stay please encourage ticket staff and refreshment staff to be more friendly and happy and focus on the customer not their conversations.

Just visited for the first time while on holiday and must say that the park itself is really really good and a great family day out. The animals all looked good and the lots of different play parks and activities for the kids were well maintained. Would definitely recommend to others and would visit again if down this way again.

We had the most amazing day at Paradise Wildlife Park today! My parents got us an experience to meet the meerkats for Christmas and it was a gift much appreciated, worth every penny! The zoo in general had a great buzz about it with noticeably happy and content animals, which is always something great to see being an animal lover. Our meerkat experience was fantastic! Kim the zookeeper was a very experienced, approachable and knowledgable lady. She made the experience even better with her passion for the animals and could answer every question we asked. I don't know what else to say other than Paradise Wildlife Park is a place you must visit! Thanks for having us and we'll be back very soon! :)

Initially I was worried due to an online booking issue that we wouldn't be able to attend today but the lovely Lesley rang before 9am to sort everything out.
We arrived at 10.30am to find the park busy but not too crowded. We brought my 13 month old godson so joined the many, many pushchairs but nearly everywhere is accessible and there's lots of low viewing areas which are perfect for little ones.
One of the highlights was seeing a napping 20yr old tiger just feet away from us and then talking to the keeper (Martin) about how they're cared for, their personalities, his role, etc. It was really kind of him to step away from what he was doing to answer our questions and he drew quite a crowd.
The park has plenty to keep children entertained including play areas both inside and out, a train ride, shows, etc. My godson was a bit too small for lots of this but that's why they only charge entry for children over 2yrs old. It also means we've got more to explore when he returns for his next visit!
Big thank you to all the fantastic and friendly staff.

Great day out even in the rain however the food in the restaurant is awful. This didn't spoil my trip with my daughter and grand-daughter however if the food was better then I would of given a 5 rating. Lovely different types of animals and birds, reptiles etc and well worth a visit.

I got feeding a big cat for my girlfriends Christmas present. It was amazing! She loved the experince.

Paradise wildlife part I find great value for money. It's very compact so it's not huge amounts of walking. They have a great selection of animals. Plus they have a pool (little water park) crazy golf, park And a train.

We have been here many times and absolutely love it. Great zoo that allows you to get very close to the animals. All the animals have large enclosures and the zoo is very well kept. There is also a brilliant playground (indoor and outdoor) that my little boy loves. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited on Saturday 22nd of July with my husband for a meerkat experience. It was great and we really enjoyed it. The keeper guy with glasses (sorry can't remember his name) was really nice and informative. Would definitely visit again.

Booked this as a last minute trip to help my brother and sister-inlaw as they were feeding the white lions and weren't aloud to take there son in with them so me and my partner and 6 month old went along to baby sit.
However ended up being a really good day. And we even got to watch my brother and partner feed the lions
They have plenty of animals and activities to do very good place for young children as the park is full of children's climbing frames and swings, the park was no over crowed and you could enjoy all the animals without waiting for people to get out of the way!
I will 100% be booking again to go again.

Took my niece and nephew to Paradise Wildlife Park on a Tuesday (not school holidays) and the park was fairly quiet!
£20/adult and under 2's are free. (You can get tickets from tesco clubcard points; £5.00 worth of vouchers get you an adult entry - recommend!!)

The park is fairly big and well laid out with tonnes of animals; you get really up close to which is great, considering some zoos you dont and have to look out for the animals! Many enclosures have higher walks so you can view them from above (although some arent accessible with a buggys as some are stairs only, but you can also view from below. They had lots of animal talks and feeds on in the day which the kids loved!
You can easily find good areas to enjoy a picnic; in the sun or shade!

A huge play area for kids of all ages, and plenty to do to spend the whole day there!
Would highly recommend Paradise Wildlife Park, I was pleasantly surprised :)

We visited (as a family group of 4 adults and 3 kids) as a birthday treat for my daughter and we had a really good day. As a smaller park, the additional play areas helps stop the little ones getting bored, but with quite a few animals not being out, the kids became more interested in the play areas than the wildlife.

The only negatives for the park would be that the shows could have been better advertised we "stumbled" across a couple of the shows (which were good), the food prices were quite high - £8 for a burger and you guys really need to change the coffee; had 3 cups, from the different outlets and they were all awful.

Saw a few FB comments moaning about the entry price;, I'd say that was pretty reasonable. We got a discount for booking online and had 10% off code, so was about £15 each.

We would go again, but would take a picnic next time.

Brilliant day which was very warm, however the venue almost costs the same as ZSL Whispnade which is a lot bigger and has more animals on offer. The welfare of the animals is great, and keepers were helping the animals manage the heat.
