My 2 year old loved it but some enclosures were empty. No tigers or snow leopard.

This was our first opportunity to visit the new lion enclosure. This is magnificent and we wait to see how the previous lion enclosure is developed. The keeper talks and the bird display were clear and informative without being too long and rambling.
Overall we had a nice day here and look forward to returning but wish to make some comments.
This is a small zoo and as such it is an easy way to introduce children to wild animals. That said, there appears to be an over-emphasis on child entertainment. Dinosaur parks may be popular but to place a noisy one in a wooded area with woodland animals seems a bit crass. It was not surprising that only the wolves were visible: the deer and other occupants were in hiding. We appreciate some animals move about at different times of the day and many are nocturnal but very few like noise!
Most zoos we visit have regular signposts to the different animals facilitating the ability to locate them: we only saw one signpost here and even with the zoo map found navigating somewhat difficult. We went looking for the corsac fox enclosure (shown on the zoo map) to find that it was empty. The informative sign had been removed but there was no notice that the corsac fox was no longer there.
The plants and flower beds were very well maintained and so we were surprised at the lack of vegetation in the penguin enclosure. Yes, their natural habitat is sea and sand but they are also used to bushes and grass in the wild.

We go here several times a year as it’s so lovely. The animals (lions, tigers, penguins etc) all seem well cared for, the different animal ‘talks’ throughout the day are interesting and informative.
The dinosaur park is fantastic.
There’s parks, soft play & a splash pool too.
My only complaints are - a spelling mistake on the jaguar’s enclosure (see pic) and more importantly- the lack of regard to safeguarding around the splash park. Far too many adults taking photos & videos of mostly (in some cases completely!) naked children. This seriously needs addressing - photos should not be permitted around the pool.

Thank you to all the staff we met today they were all very helpful and knowledgeable about the park.
The animals and enclosures all look very well cared for.
The park is expanding but is very tastefully done. Excellent value for money and suitable for all ages.
We will definitely visit again hopefully in the very near future.

Good but it's a bit dated. Thankfully we found a 20% off code that helped. It was the school holiday but didn't seam packed even though the car park was full. A few too many enclosures were closed. It's decently one for the little kids. Teenagers won't enjoy it much.

Good price with a variety of animals HOWEVER lack of signs and postings in the park can make you miss certain attractions. We missed the wolves and only noticed on way out!

As with all zoos seeing the animals is always a joy but the downside is you always get to see the ignorance of humanity at the same time - manifested as parents happily allowing their sprogs to run riot and ignore pretty much every rule the zoo has to ensure the well being of the animals.

Paradise Park does seem have positioned itself firmly as an attraction for young families and there is loads to keep the youngsters occupied, the dinosaur park is great in particular. If you are visiting as a full party of adults i would strongly recommend going either during school term time or in the afternoon from about 2:30 PM depending on your tolerance of having noisy kids continually around you.

Staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, prices are average for a zoo and i think people that complain about prices don't get that you are visiting a charity and everything should be thought of as a donation.

Overall a very enjoyable day out.

Took my granddaughters here today . On the whole it was a lovely family day .
A few let downs were
1. The toilets- awful
2. Dino train ride - £2 each and lasted a few minutes , save your money as not worth it.
3. Ice creams - £2.50 each , rip off

We bought a packed lunch so can’t comment on restaurants . Staff all very pleasant and helpful.
Parking easy and it was a nice day.

The park is tidy, the animals are easy to see and have some great outside enclosures (inside ones seem dated) and the dinosaur walk is fab.
The play areas are well maintained and we did have a good day.
The only thing that spoilt our day slightly were some of the humans that were visiting. I think it is really important that there are more staff monitoring the animals for their safety and well being.
In our 4 hours there, i saw children & adults screaming into the face of a Jaguar who had come in to shelter from the rain, a grown woman leaning over the Otter enclosure with a cigarette dangling in from her hand (the park is well placed with signs telling you not to smoke & vape) and children and adults "howling" at the Wolves even though, again, there are signs telling you not to. I feel that if there were more staff patrols this kind of behaviour would lessen.
Would possibly go back if there was a discount offer, and most definitely off peak to avoid feral humans with no respect for animals.

Brilliant day out with our 3 year old grandson. Lots to see and do but the dinosaur wood was the top attraction for him. Superb animatronic dinosaurs. He loved feeding the various animals and, of course, the play area. Not sure that the train ride is good vfm: £2 each for 4 minutes. Overall, well worth a visit.
