A fantastic place with lots of sitting and play areas for the children. A well marked out one-way system and polite, friendly and helpful staff. There is so much to see, we didn't have time to fit everything in so we will definitely be back!

The reason why this is 3 star is because of the cafe is small and took long to serve food and expensive.

Managed to walk round the whole park in 2 and half hours. There were lots of animals to see and most were out even in the rain. :)

Absolutely fantastic place with loads to do, for all ages. My dinosaur loving Daughter was blown away by the Dinosaur World! It was definitely worth the 120 mile round trip lol.
We will definitely be returning and would recommend it 100%.

We visited yesterday as a family. Booked the tickets on line which was easy enough. We booked for 9am which I'm glad we did as we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Having gone round the dinos and animals we stopped to go on the train. This was very well organised.
However, remember to review the map as the information on the floor around the animals has worn already and a number of times, we and others, got confused as to which way we needed to go.
Food is expensive (£2.50 for coffee and £3.50 for muffin) so best take snacks and lunch.
We had really only planned for the morning as we felt it might get busy, which is did.

So we thought we would treat ourselves to doughnuts. £4 for 4 tiny doughnuts and they were rock hard. Best stay away from them.

My kids had blast and the staff are very friendly. The tigers are closed and so are a lot of the viewing platforms.

Best advice is to get there early and leg it when it gets busy.

All the animals were really interactive like they've missed people! The staff are always friendly and it's nice to be able to go back. All the enclosures are well maintained and the animals are healthy and happy 😊.

My husband had lived most of his life near to this zoo, but had never been. My place of work was doing a money off deal for wildlife parks to help out post lockdown, so decided to take hubby there for his birthday.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the big cats, although you couldn't get to see the tigers up close, due to work on their enclosure.

We both loved the dinosaur park. That alone is worth a visit.

A few other things were closed or restricted, but we both had an enjoyable morning.

A great place for a family day out with lots to do for children. The parking area is huge and it's all very well organised place. I have been here 6 times now and you can never be disappointed seeing the various creatures of animilia life here.

A lovely day out. More than a zoo, a great playground, dinosaur display and before covid they also had indoor soft play, splash pool and bouncy castle. More than enough to keep the kids happy all day.

Great place for the kids not to big unlike the other zoo in Bedfordshire so you got to saw most of the animals. Only taken card payments at the moment would be nice if cash payment was also available.

Great place to take the family. The best time to arrive is when they open as not many people are there. We arrived at 9am with a small wait to be let in to the park.

As soon as you walk in you have a speedway museum, then it's on to the dinosaurs walk which is fantastic, they look super realistic!! And might scare your kids as the are activated by motion detection.

After that we headed around the zoo where you can see all sorts of animals, from lions to owls they have a lot to see.

Tips take alot of water which if it's hot as the shops and restaurants can get very busy.

We found that it took little over half a day to go around the park, so if your look for a full day out I would look elsewhere or plan to stop somewhere after.

The price is in my opinion expensive, £22 for 16+ is expected but £20 for over 2 yo is a steep, especially if you compare it to Colchester zoo where under 3's are free, 3-15yo £16.20 and 16+ £22.49

The park is good and you will have a great day out.

This is a lovely zoo was some amazing animals, however, it is not where as large as Whipsnade and some of the animals were missing from their enclosures. The staff are very helpful and the one way system works very well. The public were no keeping to this one way system and had no regard for social distancing but this is not the zoo's fault. Most of the public were behaving like Covid-19 has not existed and are going about the zoo touching everything, not wearing masks in enclosed spaces and not washing their hands or sanitising. Parking is pretty easy and there are plenty of benches for a sit down. We were not given a map so it was easy to sometimes get confused as to where you were within the zoo.
