The Loddon Brewery's second bottled beer Hullabaloo has won a Gold at the SIBA Midlands beer Competition in the 'beers up to 4.9%' category. The judging for the awards took place on Thursday 14th October at The CAMRA Robin Hood Beer festival, held in the grounds of Nottingham Castle. The SIBA (Society Of Independent Brewers Association) Midlands region covers 9 counties and over 100 Independet breweries. 85 different bottled beers were judged in 5 different categories.  This is the first award for bottled Hullabaloo since it was released in October 2009, which now ranks it amongst the best ales in the country.
This latest success now means that Loddon have now won an award every year at the SIBA Midlands beer competition since they started brewing in 2003.

Brewery owner Vanessa Hearn said, "We are really delighted to win this award and continue our proud tradition in this competition. It is particularly nice that bottled Hullabaloo has picked up a major award only one year after we released it."
