Cycle Training Progress-Only 3 Weeks To Go

My training for the bike ride from London to Paris in aid of Sue Ryder has been disrupted recently due to my father passing away. However on Sunday I was able to cycle out from Henley to Wantage, a round trip of about 60 miles. I went form Henley to Nettlebed, Nuffield, Wallingford, Didcot and along to Wantage. On the way back went through Blewberry, Streatley, Goring and Woodcote. The ride was in quite windy conditions so I was pleased to take just over 4 hours for the ride. Not sure if averaging around 15mph is good or bad, but it feels OK.

I didn't feel too bad afterwards and managed my spinning class at Expert Fitness on Monday. I did notice that I ran out of energy somewhat so will have to look in to energy bars and suchlike. Today I cycled to my networking meeting at Mapledurham. An 18 mile round trip. I'm planning another long ride this Sunday, heading out west.

I now have just 3 weeks before we set out from Blackheath on 28th July for the four day trip to Paris, cycling 320 miles. I hope that my Bianchi bike will hold on the trip. The problem will be me holding up!! Also hope that I've got everything that I need. Any suggestions gratefully received.
