Do you know someone who volunteers and gives their time unselfishly to the community and deserves to be recognised?
If you do, then Harrow Council are looking for people to vote for their favourite volunteers for the 'Harrow's Heroes 2011' award.
This ceremony is being held to recognise and acknowledge volunteering activity across the borough.
Voulnteers make a difference to our community, as they bring not only their time but also their energy, skills, individuality and talents, thereby strengthening their local community.
There are a number of awards, these are;
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Trustee / Committee Member of the Year
- Environmental Volunteer of the Year
- Sports Volunteer of the Year
- Partnership Volunteer of the year
- Community Volunteer of the Year
- International Volunteer of the Year
