Pancake day is also known as Shrove Tuesday the day before Ash Wednesday. Which is the start of Lent.
For all you people out there, a little bit about Pancake day. In the past it was meant that you have a feast on the Tuesday. It was the last day to indulge yourself and to use up the foods that you were not allowed in lent.
So for the next 40 days you are meant to give up a 'sin'. This is a Christian Festival leading up to Easter Sunday.
So all you 'sinners' out there don't be shy and make the most of Tuesday. Eat as many pancakes, chocolate, cakes etc as you like.
