Very impressed with R1 construction who built our extension. We received 3 quotes and R1 was the most competitive. Craig made the whole process very easy -with his itemised quote we were able to keep track of the work as it was completed and pay for it in intervals in line with the quote. He kept in contact throughout and visited the site every few days. His team completed the work to a very high standard and they were nice guys too - we decided to stay living at home whilst the works were carried out and they were very thoughtful and worked around us in a way that made life as easy as possible. They were also great at offering suggestions throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having building works done.

Welcome to the National Autistic Society Guernsey Branch - a charitable organisation acting in the interests of people with autism.
It is good to have a Guernsey Branch of NAS who help and advise parents. They also arrange a lot of outings and activities to get parents and families together to share and learn from each other. I have found them to be all very friendly and approachable members. Highly recomend any parents of Autism children to join this group.

We see a future where every child is living in an environment that is free from extreme poverty, in which they can thrive.
I was asked to take part in a Charity Challenge expedition within the Jungle of north west Thailand to raise money for Hope for a Child. After finding out exactly what they do I was more than happy to start raising money for this cause, and to experience the harsh but stunning Jungle life for 6 days. I was impressed with what Hope for a Child do and how they do it. Instead of just throwing money at people or purchasing items and then walking away, they actually help them create businesses so that they can support themselves and their children, providing a much more sustainable future in my opinion. The money we raised alone has changed the lives of 6000 children in Uganda, which has motivated myself to book on to another challenge later in the year for this cause.
