Nous avons déjeuné a 4 en passant.La salle est très petite et désuète. Ne vous attendez pas au charme d'une décoration car elle n'existe pas. Mais les repas étaient excellents et servis très rapidement.

Staff, accommodation and food were great, though staying for 10 days we virtually had every dish from The Ocean menu! It did get a bit boring! The Mexican restaurant was very noisy and service was poor, and we only went there once because of that.
Disappointed that we weren’t told beforehand about the lack of Spa activities due to staff illness. We were looking forward to the odd experience and they were not available unless we went into St Peter Port.
The road closure was also a problem which the hotel would have known before we arrived, but we were not told beforehand. That made travel by bus a lot more difficult and we used more taxis than we anticipated.
My room on most days was not cleaned until after 3pm and the only alternative I had was to put the sign on the door or stay downstairs.
The shower in my room was only possible by holding it over my head, not a 4/5 star experience!
It just did not feel like the quality hotel it was advertised as, and despite the magnificent views I doubt we’d stay there again. It was only rescued by the quality of the staff!!

When we booked it was stated in the brochure that a shuttle bus was available which unfortunately was not the case during our stay.
This was exacerbated by the fact that there were roadworks ongoing and no local buses could access the road at the hotel which resulted in our requiring to use the taxi service. In the circumstances it would have been reasonable for the hotel to have provided transport for guests to the nearest bus route ,that being St Martins.
We had requested a walk-in shower and unfortunately this was not provided.
If a guest has requested a walk in shower then at the very least a grab handle should be provided in the bath.
If a guest did not wish to eat Mexican food then the options presented are very limited and the food in the Ocean restaurant lacked any flair sadly.
Our stay in the hotel was blighted by the lack of transport and the expense of taxis.

Fantastic spacious room, excellent choices for breakfast and evening meals, staff all very friendly and helpful especially Rachel from the spa giving us a lift to the beach, cliff top walk to St Peter Port was a hike up and down and took 2.5 hours but the scenery was amazing, just take water and sensible shoes.
Bus service on the island was on a timetable of its own choice but comfortable buses when they came , would definitely go back .

Lovely views & garden. Steep but short walk to bay down the road where can swim & a nice cafe. Easy bus ride into town if you don’t have a car. Breakfast very good. Pool seen better days but ok for some laps. The staff are all amazing from the waiters to the spa staff - massive shout out to all of them - they all made out stay! Also near the coastal path to walk into town so we loved the location
