In winter, our terrace is transformed into a stylish and cosy Alpine Lodge complete with snowy scenery and everything you’d want in an après ski experience. Rustic wooden walls and a flickering fire, barrel tables, skis, sledges, and sofas with chunky rugs and fleeces set the scene for a festive celebration.

The bar is fully stocked with festive drinks including mulled wine, hot spiced cider, beer, hot toddies and a wide selection of cocktails and mocktails to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Discover our family and friends Sunday sessions, when children are especially welcome with festive activities and a chance to meet Father Christmas.

Adult Individual Ski Pass

Your three-hour pass in the cosy Alpine Lodge includes a choice of mulled wine or mulled cider upon arrival, one alcoholic drink token or unlimited soft drinks, luxurious cheese fondue, slow-braised bourguigon, and unlimited use of the chocolate fountain.

Adult Reserve Ski Pass

Elevate your Alpine Lodge experience with reserved seating in our cosy Snug and enjoy an enhanced Alpine feast, featuring raclette served from a dedicated station, generous charcuterie boards, seasonal salads and traditional accompaniments. Alongside all the benefits of the Ski Pass package, you'll also receive a drinks token for alcoholic beverages and unlimited soft drinks throughout your visit.

Children Individual Passes

Our children's pass includes three hours in the Alpine Lodge, hot chocolate or warm blackcurrant on arrival, a child-friendly menu that is chosen on the day, unlimited soft drinks and use of the chocolate fountain. Children are welcome to accompany adults at the Alpine Lodge at The Old Government House Hotel at any time. We particularly encourage families to join our Family Sunday sessions - a relaxed opportunity to enjoy the cosy Alpine atmosphere together.

Free-Flowing Buffet Brunch Ski Pass

Your Free-Flowing Buffet Brunch Ski Pass includes bacon and sausage sliders, mini pastries, fruit skewers, granola, yoghurt pots, and avocado on sourdough, plus unlimited Prosecco or bottled beers and non-alcoholic drinks.

Price: £70 per adult

Time: 11.30am sitting

Dates: 21st November and 5th December only

Exclusive Use

Exclusive use of our Alpine Lodge is available for private groups of up to 60 people. Tailor-made packages can be created to suit your preferences and numbers.

Price: £3,300 minimum spend

Family and Friends Sessions

Discover our Family Sundays at the Alpine Lodge. Held each week, featuring festive arts and crafts, hearty food and drinks, and a special visit from Father Christmas (1 to 3pm).

Time: Each Sunday between 12 and 5pm (last booking 2pm)

*Please note that Father Christmas will not attend the family and friends session on the 27th December.

Children's Passes: £27 under 12

Children must be accompanied by a responsive adult. Adult Ski Passes are £54 per person
