



Thirteen new Stolpersteine, also known as “stumbling stones”, were unveiled across the island earlier this month, marking locations connected to those who experienced Nazi persecution during the Occupation.
This initiative forms part of a wider international memorial, with more than 90,000 Stolpersteine installed in over 2,000 locations across Europe.
Each 10cm × 10cm cobblestone bears an engraved brass plaque and is placed in pavements and roadways, ensuring the names and stories of victims and survivors of Nazism are remembered at the places where they once lived.
