thebestof Guernsey recently held it's summer social networking 'knight' in the stunning setting of Castle Cornet hosted by Sueco. 80 invited guests enjoyed a varied evening of holistic health, relocation services, and Indonesian cooking.

Managing Director Kate Heywood welcomed the guests including hosts Hugh and Merrilee Tabel of Sueco Outside Catering and Sueco Cookery School who gave an entertaining and informative presention about their business and its wide range of services and courses.  Guests were later treated to a fantastic Indonesian cookery demonstration and taster by Chef James Ferguson. 

Ann Bowditch & Jules Brown of Hypnotherapy & Holistic Health then gave an inspiring talk about their success with hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techique (EFT) and therapies to help reprogramme the subconscious mind.  They were joined by one of their many success story clients who gave a moving talk about her journey after experiencing hypnotherapy. 

Guests then enjoyed another highly professional presentation and video from Jo Stoddart of Quintessential Relocations who gave a very insightful talk about working in the relocation industry. 

To complement the theme of the evening, In Any Event, Guernsey's one stop shop for all your event requirements, prepared a demonstration table with decor from their Princess Meri Meri Party range - perfect for little princesses.

Continuing with our efforts to raise money for local charity Help A Guernsey Child during Buy Local Week, guests were able to purchase 'I ♥ To Buy Local' bags for life.  

We were delighted that the overall total raised for HAGC was £515.20 which will stay in the Bailiwick and be put towards helping local children.

To round off the evening several business members were awarded certificates for being officially recognised as one of the best businesses in Guernsey having gained over ten reviews from their clients.  Obviously customers are the most important part of any business so the following were delighted to receive this recognition from their clients:
