John-Ross Hainey of JR Photograhy is taking
fundraising for charity to new heights!
By now most of my followers know I will soon be jumping out of an aeroplane for charity and with the skydive taking place on the 24th August, I am now starting to get... just a bit ... apprehensive!
But doing things for charity are not always as easy as you think they will be at the beginning, and to me it will definitely be well worth it.
We now need your help more than ever to reach our target of £500 for our charity, Maison Saint Pierre.
As an incentive I'm offering the opportunity for everyone who makes a donation over £10 to WIN one of a selection of wrapped canvas prints - see here.
I'll also be selecting another two names that will have a chance to take the two remaining prints at half price if they wish.
Of course all donations are very much appreciated and welcome.

Our Chosen Charity is Maison Saint Pierre

Maison Saint Pierre is a local housing charity, founded in 1991 in order to provide accommodation to homeless women and their children. The charity has ten rooms available, each with its own en-suite bathroom. There are shared cooking facilities, a dining area, playroom and lounge, plus a large garden.
The house is nearly always full; there is often a demand for available rooms and sometimes there is a waiting list.
Residents are often referred to Maison Saint Pierre by other agencies. Accommodation is needed for a variety of reasons, however about a quarter of the residents are there as a result of domestic abuse. Most women stay for between six to twelve months, often moving on into social housing.
