On March 12th thebestof Guernsey enjoyed a celebratory evening in recognition of the 2014 Local & Loved Award winners.
Winners of 'thebestof Guernsey's' Local & Loved campaign gathered at Hotel Bella Luce last week to celebrate their success. The annual campaign seeks out the 'most loved' businesses both locally and nationally by inviting islanders to give reviews in support of Guernsey companies.
After a welcome glass of fizz and an outstanding array of delicious canapes, the top 20 companies in Guernsey and those which placed in the top five in their category nationally were all presented with certificates and trophies.
Winners spanned all business sectors as local companies had the opportunity to compete in their category nationally with Guernsey achieving 42 top 5 places and 12 first place winners including:

Trim Dog Pet Centre - Pet Shops & Pet Supplies
Debbie Duport's Dancing - Dance Schools & Classes
JR Photography - Photographers

Stone Tech - Kitchen Worktops
A+ Accounting - Accountants
ABT - Conveyancing
Body & Sole - Lingerie (3rd consecutive year)
PTR - Power Tool Repairs
Vision Networks - CCTV (3rd consecutive year)
The entrepreneurial spirit is very strong in Guernsey and these awards have done what they are designed to do - shine a light on small local businesses passionate about providing a wide choice of products and services to islanders and demonstrating just how much they are valued by their customers.
