Love is in the air as Valentine's Day approaches and with the launch of the 14 DAYS OF LOVE 2012 Campaign on the 1st February, The Best of Guernsey are really getting into the mood for love and we want YOU to get involved.
What is 14 Days of Love?
14 Days of Love encourages local people across the island to ‘show some love’ by posting recommendations for local businesses that have offered them great service and advice, friendly staff and/or value for money.
The campaign is in its third year and has previously been hugely successful both nationally and for many local businesses.

The Best of Guernsey wants YOU to ‘show some love’ to the hundreds of great Guernsey businesses across the island by telling us who you love. Those who post recommendations for local businesses will be entered into the national draw with great prizes being given every day during the 14 days of the campaign.

In addition, The Best of Guernsey will also be giving away a £200 voucher to spend with any business featured on the website to a lucky local ‘lover’ who posts a recommendation before noon on 15th February.

All reviews collected from 1 March 2011 up until noon on 15 February 2012 will be added to the website’s Love-O-Meter which will ultimately decide who the ‘Most Loved’ businesses are, both locally and nationally. By posting a recommendation, people can influence the Love-O-Meter score for local businesses.
Guernsey's Best Lovers who have added the most reviews to our site will also be recognised on the ‘Love-O-Meter’.
Last year 14 Days of Love was a highly successful campaign across the UK and Channel Islands with Baan Thai restaurant becoming ‘The Most Loved Business in Guernsey’ and placing within the ‘Top 100 Most Loved Businesses in the UK’. Other The Best of Guernsey business members won or placed in the top five of their categories throughout the UK, including Avant Garden, Pavillion Interiors, Ritual Beauty, Sueco, Equilibrium Massage Therapy, Bonboniera, A+ Accounting, Focus HR Solutions, Channel Islands Skills Academy, Bowditch Fitness & Nutrition, Pierrine Jewellery, OSA Recruitment and Ian Brown’s Cycle Shop who all received the official ‘most loved’ stamp of approval.
We urge everyone in Guernsey to really help celebrate our local business community and support local businesses who work hard to make a difference. This year we would love to see even more Guernsey companies listed amongst the top 100 most loved businesses in the whole of the UK!
