The Guernsey Arts Commission has budgeted £10,000 to support emerging bands and music groups. Interested groups can apply for a £1,000 grant to develop their careers, to pay for promotion, gig expenses, studio time or CD pressing.
So far Hartebeest (shown above), Last of the Light Brigade and Of Empires have all been successful in their bids for a grant.

Deadlines for the funding sub-committee to consider forthcoming grant applications are Sunday 1st June 2014, Sunday 31st August 2014 and Sunday 2nd November 2014.
