We visited for lunch and dinner all of which was amazing. I notified them that my wife was Gluten Free and they adapted and recommended dishes without a fuss. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the service was relaxed. The food was just stunning and we had a great meal whilst watching the Red moon rise over the marina.

Staff were friendly and the restaurant itself was nice. Only one vegetarian option and it did not taste great. The hollumi was undercooked and it was battered in what tasted like chip shop batter. Very poor considering the price.

We rocked up here for an unplanned late lunch on a Thursday. After checking the chef was still ok for walk ins we were able to sit outside.
This place is blessed with a stunning location especially when the sun is shining! The food was great too - we only had light bites: crab sandwich (me) and moules (her!) but they were really good - proper bread and loads of crab. Not the cheapest and neither should it be!
Wonderful.

We enjoyed eating here a couple of years back - pre COVID and having managed to get past Guernsey's stringent immigration formalities we were very much looking forward to trying this very convenient restaurant once again.
We were not disappointed. Firstly we were clearly vey lucky to get a table with only a couple of day's notice. The place was absolutely full with a combination of family celebrations, groups of local friends and couple who had also arrived by boat.
Although called the Saltwater and being located by the sea, this restaurant offers a good choice of both meat and seafood. We opted for fish - scallops and crab cakes to start followed by seabass which was a catch of the day. The portions were generous, and the quality excellent. Although the menu lists several side dishes we were told that they were really not necessary which was sound advice.
Service was friendly and efficient and good to see that there appeared to be a lot of staff despite the much publicised challenges of recruitment in the sector.
We love visiting Beaucette. The marina is quiet and full of interesting craft. The surrounding area and beaches are the finest on the Island and this restaurant just tops it all off. Cant' wait for our next visit!

Visited Saltwater while in Guernsey on holiday with my partner.
Staff were chatty and friendly. Did take a while for our food order to be taken (30 minutes). Only one person taking the orders but plenty of other staff about!!! That said the food was fresh and perfectly cooked.
Views over the marina were stunning. Great location.

Really great Sunday lunch. I had the Salt & Pepper squid was lovely, very lightly cooked, tender. Followed by rare roast beef and a Banoffie pie to share. My partner had the scampi to start and roast lamb which was also very good.
We loved it, highly recommended.
Make sure you book.

We've eaten at Saltwater several times over the last few months, given we live near by. The food is always excellent, and the vibe in the restaurant is relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. If you're heading there for lunch or an evening meal, make sure you have a drink outside on the terrace, overlooking the marina. Each time we have been the food cannot be faulted, and the staff are always warm and friendly. The only slight negative from my perspective, is sometimes the drinks service can be a little slow, and you need to seek out staff to order a drink. I do appreciate staffing levels in hospitality are challenging at the moment, but with that small tweak, it's a 5 star restaurant every day. Highly recommend going to Saltwater, whether living or visiting Guernsey.

We popped in for a drink one morning when cycling around the island and it was such a lovely location that we booked lunch the following week and were not disappointed. It was a lovely sunny, calm day and we were spoilt for choice with the excellent menu. Everything was delicious with the battered fish and chips shining through and the drinks served wonderfully cold. The view of the islands, sea and boats is beautiful, there is no traffic so it is very peaceful and there is a great atmosphere and great service.

If you are looking for seafood platters, look no more!
This is the place to be.It’s well worth the 15 minute car journey from St Peter’s port.
You get to a small marina in an unspoilt coastal area. The business boasts great terrace and the restaurant is very comfortable.Staff are very friendly and the service is great.
More importantly, the seafood platter (needs ordering with 24 hours notice) is well worth waiting for. Great quality fresh locally caught crab, lobster, prawns. The latter comes with generous helping of boiled potatoes, salad and sauces. You simply won’t be disappointed. What are you waiting for! Stop reading and book!

Had a couple of recent visits, an evening meal and a Sunday lunch. Both were absolutely fantastic. The moules as a starter were fantastic. The sea bass was just perfect. A very high quality meal. The Sunday lunch is consistently of a fantastic standard. The beef is lovely. Really worth a visit. The desserts are divine. Tiramsu cheesecake really was stunning. Location is great. Friendly service, highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!!

Beautiful location and restaurant. Food was very nicely represented and served. Expensive but worth it! 10 stars to the chef.
Could improve with customer services…we didn’t enjoy the wait until the plates will be removed from the table (10-15minutes maybe…i was about to find a waitress and ask to remove them from the table), also after desert plates were left on the table for a while…Card machine was taking ages, so walked to the bar to pay as no one would come over.

Arrived on time but other people that arrived later were served before us. We had to go back a second time to get menus as service of lunch was coming to an end. Once that was sorted everything fell into place and we had a great time nice and relaxed very sedate pace. Menu has a good choice at reasonable prices and portion are quite large. I was expecting the fish pie to come in a dish but this was a present surprise. Food well presented and very hot and great taste. We have not been here before but will come back. It was a nice cycle ride up to Saltwater from Vason through the lanes.

The food was very nice and the staff very pleasant but the service was incredibly slow which was a little surprising given that the restaurant was not full and we got there very early. I had the squid and the roast beef which I was happy with but my husband’s moules were way too salty, (and we like a bit of salt). We mentioned it to the waiter who said he had told the chef but we did not get any comments back.
