The number of older internet users has increased dramatically over the past few years, offering benefits such as staying in touch with family and friends; the convenience of online shopping, paying bills and easy access to public information. It's a very effective way of reducing social isolation and has great potential for improving quality of life for older people.

If you feel like you're missing out on what the internet has to offer or know someone who could benefit from being online, Farnham ASSIST provide one to one computer tuition to anyone over 60.

Are you a first time computer user?
Need help to understand and use your iPad or laptop?
Would you like to know more about how to use your device,
but don't know who to ask for easy-to-understand help?
Want one to one tuition at your own pace?

Farnham ASSIST runs weekly one to one computer session for over 60's. Find out how to use the internet to shop, book tickets, catch up on TV or radio programs and  keep in touch with family and friends. Receive invaluable advice about how to get the most from your laptop, iPad or tablet (including how to up load digital photos), in a non-technical way and at your own pace.

The sessions take place regularly in central Farnham, on Wednesday mornings. To find out more call Farnham ASSIST on 01252 717710.

Farnham ASSIST is a locally based charity working in Farnham with around 500 older people who often live on their own. Visit www.farnham-assist.org.uk  for more information.
