In response to the rising concerns over the Coronavirus, Net Technical Solutions, a local IT Support services company based in West Street, Farnham has just released a free 4-step checklist to help businesses prepare for likelihood of their staff needing to work from home. In order for businesses to continue to operate as normally as possible they need to be prepared and set up for remote working and their technology will play a vital role in this.

Ben Stupples, Commercial Director at Net Technical says, “In the past couple of weeks we have seen a sharp rise in client requests to assess the ability of their users working from home, including looking at equipment, security and VPN access. In the likely event that more and more people will be in this situation, it’s better for businesses to be prepared especially with regards to their IT and so our technicians have created a simple checklist for them to use”.

The checklist covers 4 key areas which need to be addressed in order to ensure staff are supported and can work efficiently. These areas include: IT security; data access; home office set up, and communication, collaboration and management.
