Celebrate Curry in Britain with National Curry Week
4th October 2013

Next week is National Curry Week (7- 13 October). Great news for lovers of masalas, dhals and samosas!

National Curry Week was started in 1998 to celebrate and promote the cuisine of Southern Asia, and to raise funds for charities focused on hunger, malnourishment and poverty. Local caterer Curries From Home will be taking part in this week by donating 10% on all sales to The Curry Tree Charitable Fund, to help the malnourished young and victims of disaster.

So if you’re a curry fan next week is your chance to support National Curry Week. You will find a list of participating restaurants and curry themed events (Poppadom Speed Eating Challenge anyone?) on the National Curry Week website; or you could support a local business and The Curry Tree Charitable Fund by buying a curry.
