Vienna Festival Ballet was founded by celebrated Austrian dancer Peter Mallek. By engaging talented international dancers from all corners of the globe the company has delighted audiences throughout Europe with their dazzling but ‘faithful to tradition’ productions. The company’s stated aim is to bring classical ballet to the public at affordable prices and in addition to touring extensively in the UK they have also toured in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Ireland and France.
Their production of Cinderella, the classic story of a down trodden young girl, a glass slipper, two comical ugly sisters and a handsome prince features a specially commissioned score, created solely for the company and music from some of Rossini’s most famous operas.
