The Penzance production company has worked extensively in Exeter, for clients including the University of Exeter and Exeter City Council. Three S Films realised that Exeter would be the ideal location for their new premises after working with big-name city businesses like John Lewis, Michael Caines and ATASS on their latest project. Company Director Mitch Adams says, "We are often asked to produce videos that express a location or enterprise's special appeal, but working on this project we were really struck by just how eager businesses were to stand up and promote the city. "Add to this, exciting developments like Exeter being selected as a host city for the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum winning Museum of the Year, and we quickly realised that this really is a thriving location - the perfect place for our business" Film director Henry Davies adds, "Our recent video for Exeter City Council meant meeting real people from the very best that Exeter has to offer. The willingness and the enthusiasm that they have shown is a really encouraging sign that this is absolutely the place to be" Filming with the latest camera technology, including high-speed super slow motion cameras and aerial drones, Three S Films witnessed all that Exeter has to offer for a business hoping to locate within the city. Exeter City Council's Leader, Cllr Peter Edwards, who commissioned the film says, "We wanted Three S Films to produce a video that really captured the spirit of a growing, vibrant city and they have done that splendidly. "This is a fantastic place to be and to do business, and I think that the fact that Three S Films have now decided to come here themselves is a wonderful testament to that" Exeter City Council is currently on a drive to attract investment within the city, with developments like the new SkyPark and the new community at Cranbrook, which will create 6,000 new homes, hoped to bring in a raft of new businesses. For Three S Films this pro-business approach has been a major draw. Mr Adams says, "Working on shoots, we often need to work with the local authority. While some councils can be obstructive, Exeter City Council have always been extremely accommodating. It is little things like that that give us the confidence to set up in Exeter" Three S Films hope to open their new office within the next few months and will be looking to produce more high-quality professional videos for many more clients in the area.
