In these austere times, many businesses have cut back on investment, but Exeter champions Linda Bennett and Dave Barr - with thebestof - have just re-invested a considerable amount into their community and business website. Local people will now receive the best local service through a brand new ‘hub’ to find the best of everything locally, driven hugely through social media links.
Linda Bennett said, “We are passionate about Exeter and all that it has to offer, but we noticed that there wasn’t one home for Exeter's residents to find the best of everything in the area. With our new website, we are now able to offer something that will be of real benefit to the local community, and we hope that we are doing our bit for the Big Society.”
Some of the new features include a local blog, a fully interactive events section and daily and weekly offers. Soon there will be a place where you can swap, share and rent items locally. You can also find trusted businesses through its business section.
This website is absolutely free of charge for locals to use, and the team goes out of their way to support any local group or association who want increased promotion of their events.
