The Blues Band, which features Paul Jones, Dave Kelly, Tom McGuinness, Rob Townsend and Gary Fletcher are celebrating 35 years together, having formed the band, flying in the face of musical fashion, in 1979.
Even the band themselves wouldn’t have expected to still be so popular 35 years later but after 20 albums and thousands of gigs they have earned a reputation as one of the finest exponents of the blues tradition in all its forms.
