The event took place on Thursday, August 28th, at Casa Maroc in Exeter with staff and guest performers showing off an array of talents including poetry, acting, singing and musical performances and filmmaking.

Jas Walker, Systems Development Manager with the Trust, organised the event that raised £325 for the Devon Ambulance Staff Benevolent Fund and it is hoped that more secret talent nights will take place across the Trust patch in the future.

Jas said: “I would really like to thank all the staff and guest performers who took part during the evening and everyone who came out to support the event - you all helped to raise a great amount of money for the Devon Ambulance Staff Benevolent Fund.

“This is the first event like this that I have put together and I hope that many more will take place across the Trust and that we can raise funds for many more charities.

“There were so many highlights from the evening and all the performers did really well.”

Ken Wenman, Chief Executive of SWASFT, added: “Firstly I would like to thank Jas for all the hard work he put into organising the talent night.

“Secondly I would like to say how proud I was to see so many of our staff showing off their talents and helping to raise funds for such a good cause. I hope we can repeat more events like this in the future.”
