The Local Boundary Commission for England recently published its recommendations on electoral arrangements for Exeter. Now the City Council must conduct a Review of Polling Districts and Polling Stations within the new wards. The results of this Review will form the basis for the publication of a revised register of electors on 1 February 2016; which will in turn form the basis of the arrangements for the City Council elections due on 5 May 2016 (along with the Police and Crime Commissioner elections also due).
People can find out more by going to www.exeter.gov.uk/pollingreview where it is explained why a review has to be undertaken; the current list of polling stations in the City; and a list of proposed changes where necessary.
