The Exeter team, captained by Danny Belsten was only formed a few months ago and has been challenged by Plymouth under their captain Neil “The Destroyer “Dudbridge to take part in the Big Match over two legs.
The first is on Saturday at the Brookside Social Club in Plymouth, doors open at 12noon. Admission will be by £5 donation to the chosen charity the NIC Baby Unit at Derriford Hospital. The Exeter team features 12 men, 6 ladies and 5 youth members. Both teams include many experienced top standard winning players at local level and a number of Devon County players.
Danny said “There will be plenty of rivalry and banter so we are really looking forward to what promises to be a great match. It should be good entertainment, so please come and support us.”
The date and venue for the return match in Exeter have yet to be fixed, but will be announced in the near future.
