The party is lead by The Carny Villains, a seven-piece band that plays two-step mash-ups of gypsy swing, ska and rockabilly. 2015 is the 150th anniversary of the publication of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Carny Villains are the perfect encapsulation of book. They tell implausible tales from a weird burlesque world on the edge of reason.
Presented by Cabaret Voltaire, there will also be jazzy DJs, walkabout theatre, exotic drinks and a Wonderland fancy dress theme.
Doors and the bar open at 7pm for an 8pm start - no age restriction, all standing.
