As unemployment levels reach a 17 year high, South Devon based business EMCAS is bucking the trend by launching a recruitment campaign in Exeter.
As a consumer advocate, EMCAS helps people from across the UK reclaim money due as a result of being mis-sold financial products such as Payment Protection Insurance, Endowment Mortgages, Saving and Investments and Motor Finance. To date EMCAS has helped over 350,000 people and secured more than £250 million in compensation for their customers.
In the autumn of 2010 the company also launched a Debt Solutions service to assist people who may be struggling with debt to regain control of their finances.
EMCAS has been based in Torbay since it was established in 2003 but recently opened a serviced office in the Regus centre on Exeter Business Park. However, due to the company’s ongoing success EMCAS are making the permanent move to a bigger office in the city.
The company currently employ over 180 dedicated staff and due to the company’s continual and rapid growth the addition of a new office will create upwards of 70 job opportunities in Exeter across various sectors of the business.
