thebestof Exeter business member, MECA Services, the only lady-owned garage in Exeter, held their second annual Ladies' Day on Wednesday, 2 December. They invited women and new drivers (male or female) to go along to have their cars checked for Winter and also to be shown how to do the basic checking themselves.
I was warmly greeted by Jennifer and her team when I went along with my branded Mini. Now I finally understand about tyre pressure, checking the oil, the windscreen wash and the antifreeze - and all this was done in such a friendly way (with a delicious cappuccino in hand).
Also, Nino Firetto was there doing a live broadcast on Exeter FM, and the event had quite a jolly celebratory air about it - such fun as an extremely useful service was provided.
I applaud MECA for offering the Exeter community this fantastic (and FREE) service. MECA certainly qualifies as a thebestof Exeter member and we wholeheartedly recommend that you give them a try - if you haven't already!
