BBX Devon has been growing and growing since starting up in May 2016 by Mandy Swift and Gerry Bolt, as of the 1st August 2019 they have now decided to move on to pastures new and have handed over the reins to the very capable Jon Iacomino in partnership with Debbie Tomlinson.
Jon joined the company in October last year and has grasped the opportunity with both hands and has worked his way through the ranks coming in as Purchasing Manager, working on the Growth & Development side and then on to Trading Director, ensuring that our community partners get the services they need and the customers they want helping them take their businesses from strength to strength.
Jon has a good solid background in business, working for many years in the gaming industry. Holds a BA Hons for Business Management which he completed with The Open University which has given him a good footing to take on the business as franchisee.
Partnering up with Debbie Tomlinson of As & When Admin Services who has been a BBX community partner for over 2 years and also the trading officer for the south west knows BBX inside out, she listens, she gets things done and sorts things out – all the trademarks of an excellent VA! Her own business has been trading since April 2007 with a solid background before that as a PA and secretary and she also holds the Private Secretary Certificate. Incidentally Debbie was also nominated “employee of the week” in BBX UK this week, a newly set-up incentive by the national brand!
This dynamic duo has plans to grow this community which is rapidly approaching 200 members and have no doubt that they will reach this goal by the end of the year!
