Family Law Specialist and thebestofexeter member, Hartnell Chanot & Partners, is delighted to announce that two of its family law experts have been shortlisted for the highly prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards.
These awards are presented to “exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the legal profession during the year.” Stephen Sowden has been shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year and Alexandra Boardman for Legal Executive of the Year. Hartnell Chanot is the only South West law firm that has been shortlisted within the individual’s categories.
Stephen has been recognised for his unstinting devotion to helping grandparents gain access to their grandchildren, a particularly difficult and emotive area of law, whilst Alexandra has been shortlisted for her commitment and passion to providing the best advice and representation to clients in domestic abuse relationships.

The winners will be announced at the exclusive awards ceremony in London on 18 October.
