On 17 November Exeter Corn Exchange will host a performance by From the Jam on their 'All Mod Cons' 35th Anniversary Tour.
From the Jam features Bruce Foxton from the original Jam line up. He also spent 15 years playing bass with Stiff Little Fingers. Bruce is joined by Russell Hastings, lead vocal and guitar, and Mark Brzezicki (Big Country) on drums.
The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and 7 albums to make the top 40 in the United Kingdom from their debut in 1977 to their break up in 1982. Their last 5 albums were all top ten hits and their last 8 singles made it into the top 10.
All Mod Cons is one of the greatest albums from the punk/new wave era and includes the massive single hit Down in the Tube Station at Midnight, along with David Watts, English Rose and It’s Too Bad.
The ShaLaLas are the support act for the evening
Tickets are £20 (£23 on the door) and can be booked by telephone from the venue on 01392 665938. No extra charges are made for booking fees, debit card payments or postage.
