Three former Gemini Radio presenters have reunited to take control of Exeter 107.3 FM’s daytime output – the first time they have been together for eight years.

Ben Clark, Chris Dinnis and Matt Young all had programmes on the now defunct commercial radio station that broadcast in the city from 1995 to 2009. Now Exeter FM under its new local owners has brought the popular presenters back under the same roof.

Ben Clark presented Gemini’s breakfast programme for 10 years from 1996 to 2005 now presents Exeter FM’s breakfast show from 6 till 10 am.

Chris Dinnis joined Exeter FM last year and now presents the 10 am to 2pm slot.

And Matt Young, who took over Gemini’s breakfast show from Ben Clark, presents the afternoon show on Exeter FM from 2pm.

They are joined by the station’s co-owner Mark Tyler who will read the news throughout the day on all their programmes.

Ben Clark says: “It’s wonderful that Exeter FM lets us loose live throughout the day. We’re the only station in the area that has live local programmes all day – and the feedback we’re getting proves that great music and local news is a winning combination.”

Newsreader Mark Tyler says: “We’re privileged to be able to attract broadcasters of Ben, Chris and Matt’s quality and reputation. They live in and love this area and their enthusiasm for presenting live local programmes shows in their work.

Exeter 107.3 FM was taken over by Paul Nero and Mark Tyler at the end of June with a promise to increase local content and play more classic hits.
