For the first time ever, Exeter Golf and Country Club is opening its doors to the public on Sunday 10th April for a Club Open Day. The club will also be giving away a family membership in aid of local cancer charity, FORCE and offering an exclusive membership offer for those who attend.
The Open Day is the first one to take place at the members’ club and offers members of the public the chance to explore the facilities on offer from the indoor and outdoor pools to the tennis and squash courts, gym and golf course.
Entry to the Open Day is free of charge but people will also be able to enter a prize draw to win an annual membership for up to a family of four, which will raise money for FORCE cancer charity in Exeter. FORCE is the Club President’s Charity of the Year and will be the focus of many events at the club including their first ever Club Fete later this year.
Martin Halse, General Manager of Exeter Golf and Country Club said, “We are all very excited to be hosting our first ever Open Day. Exeter Golf and Country Club is something of a hidden gem and people will be surprised to see the extent of the leisure facilities we offer to our members.
“As a member-owned club, we are member-led rather than profit-led and you can tell by the quality of our facilities from our newly refurbished indoor pool and spa to theCLUBHOUSE restaurant and bar which is just the perfect place for dinners, get-togethers and Sunday Lunch – which people will be able to try when they come and see us on Sunday 10th!”
The Open Day is family friendly with children’s activities taking place throughout the day including golf, squash and tennis for juniors.
A special Sunday Carvery for £7.50 will also be available to visitors between 12pm and 3pm in theCLUBHOUSE.
