Exeter Leukaemia Fund is delighted to have been nominated as one of the three charities to gain from Chelsea Building Society's Charity Choice Scheme. Members of Chelsea Building Society and the general public are being encouraged to pop into the South Street, Exeter branch, between 25th October and 8th November to vote for charities to receive their Charitable Foundationâs support. The amount donated to each charity will be calculated after the voting period; the charity with the most votes will receive a donation of £500, the second most popular £300 and third £200. Mike Tate, Manager of Chelsea Building Society in Exeter said, The charities benefitting are all important to our local community so it's great that the final decision will be placed in the hands of our members to decide how the money will be split. As a mutual organisation we always look to support local charities and good causes so I really hope everyone will take the opportunity to come into the branch to make their vote count. Tracy Milton, ELF's Communication Manager commented, We are very grateful to Chelsea Building Society for their on-going support and are delighted to have been nominated as one of the three charities to gain from this fabulous scheme. We would be delighted if not only our existing supporters but everyone voted for ELF! £500 could make a huge difference to patients of the Haematology Centre and their loved one.
